Althan UHTC is one of the important focal point for service delivery to urban slum dwellers. Attached with the community medicine dept of Govt Medical College Surat, providing a platform for undergraduate and postgraduate students for services of the underprivileged group.

- Daily average 80 outdoor patients at UHTC and average 40 OPD patients at UHTC clinic run by the department at Buddh Vihar Azadnagar.
- Every Wednesday celebration of Immunization day, Ante-Natal Clinic; 10 to 15 ANC checkup every day
- Deliveries: 10 to 15 monthly
- Family visits; 1000 family folders completed and follow up for immunisation, contraceptive use and vital events
- Referral linkages from field to UHTC and UHTC to New civil Hospital, Surat
- Awareness campaigns for World TB Day, World AIDS Day, Exclusive breastfeeding, Immunization, Nutrition, Swachata Abhiyan, meeting with patients on AKT and special group meeting with care takers of MDR TB patients
- Organized mega Camps at Anganwadi Levels with specialist services available
